Should now mimic bash quoting and escaping (see http://wiki.bash-hackers.org/syntax/quoting) exactly, leaving out argument expansion and obscure syntax like $''.

Should now mimic bash quoting and escaping (see http://wiki.bash-hackers.org/syntax/quoting) exactly, leaving out argument expansion and obscure syntax like $''.
