Fixes link failure when using the 'gold' linker. Also tested with regular 'ld' and it seems to work fine.

The problem is mentioned here http://wiki.debian.org/qa.debian.org/FTBFS#A2009-11-02Packagesfailingbecausebinutils-gold.2BAC8-indirectlinking, and I confirm that adding -lpthread makes it work with both ld and gold.
