App requests runtime to terminate in unusual way. #3018

In case the image isn't visible to you: "Runtime Error! Program C:...bitcoin-qt.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications's support team for more information."

This was produced on a very new Toshiba E45t-A4200 with a solid state drive running Windows 8 after running it the first time with about 31 weeks of the blockchain as-yet-NOT-loaded and not really any activity from me, the user. The disk has plenty of space. Restarting the app was successful; it now says it's only 30 weeks behind.

A look into the debug.log after the crash would be nice... which version are you using?

It was 0.8.5, as you see below. I attached the debug log for you, but only up to the point where there were several blank lines and then what I'm guessing is the output from when I restarted it:

There seems to be no assertion message or line number in the message. The only thing that can be concluded from the debug log is that it happened somewhere while loading the block index.

We can't debug this with the information available, sorry.
