Following the removal in #30720, seed.bitcoinstats.com has been rebuilt from scratch and has been working correctly for the last couple of weeks. If desired we can re-enable it in the list of available seeds.

    This reverts commit c88a7dc53e3be7489605c3326cf768df5437393a.

    No IPv6 support?

It currently doesn’t give me any results for x9, IIRC the most common filter:

    0host x9.seed.bitcoinstats.com.

I might add ipv6 support, but still fighting with my cloud provider about that.

Interesting, I’ll check why that is.

Yes. When using @1.1.1.1 it works. Without, i get the following. Apparently my ISP’s DNS server (or the router’s) is behaving funny.

Oh, that’s a good data point. Seems the result is larger than your ISP is willing to forward. Would you like me to return fewer results?

The number of results (24-25) is not that different from the other DNS seeds. i don’t think the problem is with that.

i tried specifying the ISP’s DNS server IP directly with dig and this worked, and suddenly it’s just working also without. Maybe it’s just something dumb with the local configuration. Let’s wait if other people stumble on problems first.
