I'd advise against sending people to random pages on Google for downloading (untrusted) block chains. Maybe mention @jgarzik's torrent directly.

I don't like making a link out of a section title (same for OSX and Unix). I'd mention the reference to the build notes as a separate sentence, there is no real need to condense this much.

Space saving in /doc README.

Fixed. Split off build, and bootstrap link.

Automatic sanity-testing: PASSED, see http://jenkins.bluematt.me/pull-tester/a11dd1e67c76197ca4e01dd18825ff053dfb7772 for binaries and test log. This test script verifies pulls every time they are updated. It, however, dies sometimes and fails to test properly. If you are waiting on a test, please check timestamps to verify that the test.log is moving at http://jenkins.bluematt.me/pull-tester/current/ Contact BlueMatt on freenode if something looks broken.
