When building on 'virgin' Mac OS X following additional ports are required:
- autoconf
- pkgconfig

Releases shouldn't require these, just building from git.

But in the build-unix.md we don't distinguish between those scenarios either. IMO we should just err on the safe side and add those extra prerequisites.
