Seems like these files don't need to be placed in the root dir of /contrib, but rather in a folder with the other developer tools. Just trying to keep it tidy.

Automatic sanity-testing: PASSED, see http://jenkins.bluematt.me/pull-tester/adb72ea9a104cb12c73ed4e41b05ad633d24bdc3 for binaries and test log. This test script verifies pulls every time they are updated. It, however, dies sometimes and fails to test properly. If you are waiting on a test, please check timestamps to verify that the test.log is moving at http://jenkins.bluematt.me/pull-tester/current/ Contact BlueMatt on freenode if something looks broken.

In general I agree with this, but be careful:
tidy_datadir.shis not specifically a developer tool, it is generally useful for anyone that upgrades from old versions of Bitcoinqt_translations.pyis mentioned in the release process, update the path there too
