In the QT gui, in the Display tab of the options, the "Display addresses in transaction list" checkbox doesn't seem to affect the Transactions pane of the main window -- addresses are always displayed.
I don't know why it'd be useful to turn off addresses in the Transactions pane. Should we just remove the checkbox?
ACK on removing it.
It does affect some things (try enabling it, you'll see LOTS more addresses in addition to the labels). This was something introduced in a bikeshedding discussion a long time ago, so eventually it was decided to make it an option to be able to make progress at all.
But I doubt anyone is actually using/testing it so it's better to remove it.
Since this, it is impossible to see addresses in the Transactions pane. Can we add it back? Maybe with a better description if the old one was confusing... (although it makes sense to me)
