Automatic sanity-testing: PASSED, see http://jenkins.bluematt.me/pull-tester/p4686_f175a0da56b78d86255520fb0862627f7a50cb4a/ for binaries and test log. This test script verifies pulls every time they are updated. It, however, dies sometimes and fails to test properly. If you are waiting on a test, please check timestamps to verify that the test.log is moving at http://jenkins.bluematt.me/pull-tester/current/ Contact BlueMatt on freenode if something looks broken.

Fair enough.. I'll just say that I run the whatismyasn.org site and am committed to keeping it running on that IP.. might be an ok temporary solution until peer based IP detection is working.. but no worries if you don't want it.

Removing the lookup altogether seems a far better alternative. The external IP lookup is even more intrusive than the DNS seeds for which we started mandating certain logging policies.
