Tray icon disappears before quit #908

With current git master, the system tray icon disappears immediately when you tell Bitcoin-Qt to exit. It used to stay until the client shutdown completely. I see that this was intentional in pull #867, but it makes development/debugging more difficult and may cause more confusion when a user gets an error that Bitcoin-Qt is already running when he tries to restart it.

How about changing the icon, setting a "shutting down" tooltip, or similar instead?

This is on purpose. But changing the icon (and making sure the context menu doesn't activate anymore) is fine with me too. Send a pull.

This behavior changed back with commit 7cfbe1fee465e82ddbdc8ed17dfcce791bd765f5, closing issue
