Even if another unit is configured in Bitcoin-Qt, “Send coins” always defaults to BTC. This seems non-intuitive to me.

This looks to only happen with the first send-coins dialog after restart. Additional recipient entries added with “Add recipiient” button and the single entry left-over after clicking “Clear all” button default to the correct unit. At least, this is what happens with bitcoin-qt 0.5.2. I suspect it creates the first entry before loading settings.
