bitcoin-qt 0.5.3 maximise window broken in KDE 4.7.4 #939

With 0.5.3, when I press the "maximise" button, bitcoin-qt quickly maximises and restores the original window size right away. If a maximised window is minimised to tray and then restored, the window is also un-maximised.

Both problems are regressions in 0.5.3; 0.5.2 worked fine in this regard.

This should be solved on master (with the "yet another minimize to tray" commit). We went through various iterations however it should now be OK on all platforms.

Closing this since it's fixed in 0.6.0.
