While you're at it, can you also adjust this here (if you agree with it)?

The idea is to remove "that mentions the library soname of the release". We had just discussed this among the maintainers. We believe that adding the soname is probably a bit confusing for the average user, and we don't think it's that important to have it in the changelog. That's why we didn't follow this suggestion.
doc: Do not mention soname in CHANGELOG.md "ABI Compatibility" section
