Can you add a Parameter to Set the max outgoing Connections?
In some Cases there is no Way to Establishment incoming cons, so i can use the Parameter to inverse the value without editing the Source.

There is no reason to increase your number of outgoing connections, doing so won't help you and will only waste network resources.

I agree with @gmaxwell; the harm to the network of filling up more "I'm listening" ports of your peers outweighs any possible benefit of having more than 8 outgoing connections. Closing.
