This test script verifies pulls every time they are updated. It, however, dies sometimes and fails to test properly. I'm not sure this is still correct, if I remember correctly Gavin is moving away from MacPorts for building/releases because it's troublesome to get it installed in an OSX 10.6 virtual machine.
