Cannot enter text in the text boxes (for sending BTC) in bitcoin-qt #4901

Subjects says it all really. Noticed this in the last few weeks, so I suspect the bug was introduced then. I'm also seeing red text in debug.log when opening the main window ("show" from the menu). On Ubuntu 14.04.

Seems to be intermittent as as soon as I raised the issue, it started working again.

Ubuntu's DBusMenuExporter plugin is behaving weirdly then. I doubt that can be caused by any change that we made recently.

Seems to be an intermittent issue with the Ubuntu customization to Qt, nothing we can do here.
