Bitcoin 5.0rc3: Confirmation text of new generation transactions #614

Very low priority, but I loaded up Bitcoin 5.0rc3 on Mac on my testnet data directory, and when I hover over the left column for a recent generation (or as this calls it, "Mined"), I see hovertext saying:

Unconfirmed (2 of 6 confirmations) Mined balanced will be available in 118 more blocks Mined

I assume that the "2 of 6 confirmations" text is intended for "normal" transactions, not mined ones, but it seems erroneous. I can only effectively mine on testnet, and I suspect that most miners get paid by pools now directly, but it seemed worth noting.

One might argue that a mined block can be unconfirmed or confirmed, though I would agree that it should be changed.

Is this still present with 0.6.2? -> Yes it is ;). @laanwj What would be a better suiting wording here?

I would think that it should be handled similarly to a "normal" transaction, and either say "unconfirmed" or "maturing" or something. Like: Maturing (2 of 120 confirmations)

Looks like this is resolved in 0.7

I'm not sure if this is fixed, the current text reads:

<pre> Unconfirmed (2 of 6 confirmations) Mined balanced will be available when it matures in 118 more blocks Mined </pre>

@petercooperjr Is this better now or still problematic?

Is this not fixed with 0.8.x?
