bitcoin-qt crashes on startup in master after bitcoin/bitcoin#35470 (fixed in bitcoin/bitcoin#35549), no release affected #940

bitcoin-qt crashes at start.

Expected behaviour

It shouldn't crash.

Steps to reproduce

Just run bitcoin-qt.

It was just informative in case anyone noticed why qt suddenly stopped working. All the details are very well explained in bitcoin/bitcoin#35549). It only affects master, none of any other previous releases.

This issue reports a GUI startup crash caused by https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/35470 that should be fixed in https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/35549. I'm also trying to add a test that would detect this type of crash in CI in https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/35551
