I mean I'm fine in theory with adding a code of conduct (certainly people should be behaving with respect whether it's in a text document or not), but this one appears to be mostly targeted at conferences (with references to sponsors and a random @yahoo contact email).

Agree that this one is out of scope for the Bitcoin Core GitHub project. Furthermore I don't think we should collect and add documents to our git tree that describe common sense. To the best of my knowledge, none of the inappropriate behavior mentioned in the document ever happened within the Bitcoin Core GitHub project. Feel free to prove me wrong, but I propose to close this.
