If anyone testing this gets stuck running
./configureand/or doesn't want to passdisable-dependency-tracking, a workaround is to downgrade automake to1.15.1. See my comment here for more info.If you have trouble running the functional tests, seeing errors like:
UnicodeEncodeError: ascii codec can't encode character ...you might need to
export LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8. -

I cannot test this as my VM environment refuses to run OpenBSD 6.4. I think this is straightforward enough, though.
